Problem 1 : What fits ? = 5+1
1) Looking it simple way is:A+B→A×B+A
This fits
1+5=6,
2+6=14,
3+7=24,
So,
5+1=?
5 +1→5×1+5 = 10
2) Wow, another mind-blowing way of looking this is really a fun.
A+B→preceding sum + A + B, thus
1+5=6,
6+2+6=14,
14+3+7=24,
Therefore,
24+5+1=30
So 5+1 = 30.
➤ However there could be an objection in this 2nd option like:
suppose series which is:
1+5=6,
2+6=14,
3+7=24,
5+1=?
Instead, is
1+5=6,
2+6=14,
3+7=24,
1+5=? Then obvious answer to the last 1+5 should be 6, as already stated in its first step. But as per above rule (2), this last 1+5 would be 30.
3) If place of sequence is also taken into account as is taken in 2nd method then applying
(A+B) at n-th equation → A*B + n we get
1+5= 1*5 +1 = 6,
2+6= 2*6 +2 =14,
3+7= 3*7 +3 =24,
Therefore,
5+1 at 4th equation
= 5*1+4 =9
So 5+1 = 9.

Problem 2 : Find what fits ? = B + CxJ
3E =15 => E=5;
C= 8-E = 8-5=3;
C+E+B=10
=> B=10-8=2;
Therefore,
B+CxJ = 2+ 3× 10 = 32
Note: Equations are written in such a way that E = 5 = positional value of E in Alphabets. Similarly C and B also has values corresponding to their positional value. Therefore J is taken as 10.

= f(shoe Person Ice-cream )
let x be a shoe, y be an ice-cream, and z be a man.
2x+2x+2x = 30
6x = 30
x = 5
y+y+2x = 20
2y+10 = 20
y = (20-10)/2 = 5
2z+2z+y = 13
4z+5 = 13
z = (13-5)/4 = 2
Notice the man is wearing 2 shoes and holding 2 ice-creams.
So,
x+(y+2x+2z)×z
= 5+(5+2•5+2•2)×2
= 5+(5+10+4)×2
= 5+19×2
= 5+ 38
= 43 Ans ✓

50÷(1/2) then add 20
=100+20
= 120 Ans ✔
2) If read wrongly as
Divide 50 in half and then add 20. "Divide" word is somehow ignored by chance, then the answer would be 25 +20 =45. ❌️
3) One can also read it as 'divide 50 by half(of 50)' which would equate to 50/25, or 2, then 20 is added would give 22. ✔
